Elisavet Tsekeri
Elisavet Tsekeri is an Environmental Engineer, a graduate of the School of Environmental Engineering of the Technical University of Crete, and holds a Master’s degree from the same school. She earned her PhD from the School of Chemical and Environmental Engineering of the Technical University of Crete, specializing in sustainable energy, climate change, and the assessment of environmental factors affecting health and well-being in urban environments. She has experience as a researcher in European Horizon 2020 projects such as VARCITIES, INTEGRATES, ReCO2ST, and SMART GEMS, playing an active role in action coordination, indicator development, building energy performance modeling, and environmental data analysis. Her research focuses on Mediterranean cities and combines tools for dynamic simulation, atmospheric and noise pollution analysis, microclimate assessment, and nature-based solutions.
